An adaptation of Checkhov's The Seagull for CalArts School of Theater, Fall 2022 season. Constructed with 4,000lbs of concrete, 300lbs of dirt, hundreds of real pool tiles, and over a dozen bars of steel rebar, the space transformed a black box theater into a deserted pool with surreal characters trapped in a dystopian atmosphere.
